Enter some information about your site and the amount you are willing to bid for the keyword you have chosen. And viola, you added your site to our Search Engine. We'll approve your listing the same day, if it meets relevancy standards. Be sure to only bid on keywords related to your website's content!

Q. How do I make a deposit?
A. Well, after you're free bonus is exhausted (we send an email to notify you a couple of days before your account is empty) use our 100% secured credit card processor. Q. How does the bid system work?
A. Additional information is provided for advertisers in the Listing Management Area. Essentially, you choose search terms, and fill out an online form for each web site and the search terms you've chosen, along with the bid amount for that search term/phrase. Within 24 hours, your listing will then appear (or re-appear at a different ranking) at the level you've bid upon. If you bid a higher amount than the existing listing at a certain position (such as #1), your site will now hold that position.

Q. What terms (keywords) can I choose?
A. You can select any phrase or keyword that is relevant to your site/company service or product offerings. You cannot bid on keywords or phrases which are unrelated to your site (such as pet products for a car parts company). There is no limit to the number of search terms you can bid on.

Q. How are unique click throughs counted?
A. To prevent abusive charges, Unique Click Throughs are counted once in every 24 hours. That means if someone clicks on your link , clicking it again will not cost you any more pennies because the second click is not unique anymore. After 24 hours, that visitor's click will become unique again.

Q. What happens when two or more advertisers bid the same amount on the same search term?
A. Since certain keywords are always "in play" due to their popularity, our system has a very special feature to resolve this issue. The first account (based on time stamp) to place the bid for the amount will be listed first, with the second (third, etc.) bidder listed after them. The only way to get above these same priced bids is to bid higher by a penny.

Q. How do I control my budget?
A. Once your account reaches zero, your bidded links are automatically dropped from the listings. It is never possible to have a negative balance. This allows YOU to control your budget. Example: If you budget $100 per month for keyword marketing, you could simply put $100 in your account each month, and when it's used up, your keywords drop from the paid rankings. Of course, it's always a nice problem to have if your budget is used up early, because you've received possibly thousands of new visitors to your site directly from your LinkAssist listing! With such success you'd probably want to increase your LinkAssist marketing budget.

Q. What is the difference between paying for impressions and paying for clicks?
A. Impression based advertising refers to the idea that each time a banner or listing is loaded or refreshed on a screen, there is an associated cost to the advertiser. The placement of the banner or listing may be at the top or bottom of a page and might not be the focal point of the Web surfer. In many cases, an advertiser sees little results or site traffic from the money they spent on advertising. Pay-For-Placement advertising (paying for clicks) in the case of LinkAssist.com refers to a member buying the rights to placement in our directory of a particular keyword or keyword phrase. Each time a visitor clicks through to a member's site, an agreed upon fee (your bid price) is debited against your member's account. The greatest advantages include targeting of keywords and the fact that payment is based on results at a predetermined price per visitor.

Q. Why do all listings need to be verified?
A. Each member of LinkAssist.com is entitled to bid on search terms that are relevant to the content of their site. LinkAssist.com makes it's simple user interface available to develop your bids and submit a particular set of key words or phrases for approval. All search terms are reviewed within 24 hours (unless notified otherwise-usually much faster) and confirmation is given as to which search terms were approved and which do not have high relevancy. Maintaining high relevancy is critical to providing valuable search results to our visitors. LinkAssist maintains the right to recheck links at any time and drop bids if the member has changed the contents of the page. This search engine is meant to be useful and targeted, please help us in this regard. We encourage you to let us know if you find irrelevant paid links.

Q. How much does it cost for each bid?
A. It all depends on the number of people competing for that particular keyword. Let's say, for example, for the keyword "FREE", you need a minimum bid of $0.08 to get the #1 listing. Well, you may still bid at $0.01 but your listing would be far behind the rest! The higher your ranking in our listings, the quicker you would see a significant increase in your traffic results. Tests show being in the Top 3 listings gives superior results.
